Children's Miracle Network
Each year, our Phi Delta Epsilon chapter focuses on raising money and awareness for our local hospital at Montefiore. Since our foundation in 2007, the New York University Phi Delta Epsilon chapter has preformed several successful fundraisers to support the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, including bake sales, charity dinners, and other charitable events.
Since Fall of 2011, we are partnered with the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York, a CMN hospital. We continue to bring even more support and good will to this hospital and represent a mission of Phi Delta Epsilon.
Citymeals On-Wheels
City,eals-on-Wheels raises private funds to ensure no homebound elderly New Yorker will ever go a day without food or human company. Last year, our family of contributors helped us bring 1.7 million nutritious meals to 16,918 frail aged in every borough of New York City. In addition, more than 1,200 volunteers collectively spent 42,000 hours visiting and delivering meals to New York’s frail aged.
Citymeals funds 31 community-based agencies that bring weekend, holiday and emergency meals to homebound elderly New Yorkers who can no longer shop or cook for themselves.
Citymeals-on-Wheels provides a continuous lifeline of nutritious food and human company to homebound elderly New Yorkers in need, helping them to live with dignity in their own familiar homes and communities.
